The French established a strong nation in the centre of Europe and turned its guns against all the other powers on the continent. She established colonies around the world and the France pride in embracing liberal values led her to enforce this upon their colonies. The French still use this today as a barometer of progress. But today, France is no longer the power she once was and continues in her endeavour at maintaining a global presence with an ever-weakening hand.
